I feel this one is about my own self-awareness. I don’t want people to feel like they must always be thinking of me when they’re talking to me or looking at me.
When you start a new project, you’re stuck with your old attitude. You can’t take away your attitude (no matter what you do).
I feel this too, but people who read blogs and websites and forums (like my sister!) are often a bit more self-aware than most. I know many of the comments I see that are just a bit too self-involved. I dont want to see them all go away either, but a bit of self-awareness comes into play.
It’s true that we don’t always think of ourselves as self-aware, but we do tend to have a good idea of what we want our lives to look like. We can often tell what our ideal life looks like, and most of us are pretty good at identifying their flaws. This is what makes people so self-aware. We can see it with our own eyes, and we can often figure out what we want to change.
I know I am. I want to be a better writer, and I am doing my best to be that better, but I still have many flaws. The thing about self-awareness is that it makes you aware of those flaws, and you can’t help but fix them to some extent if you know what is wrong with you.
One of the most surprising things about self-awareness is that it only takes a few moments of introspection to realize that we are in fact always in the wrong. We all have blind spots. We all tend to be the type of people who take things for granted because they are only ever wrong. This is why we need to take on self-awareness daily to remind ourselves that we are always in fact wrong.
I recently read an article on self-awareness by Dr. James E. McGrew. It’s one of the most important things to read about on the subject. He makes a strong case that the best way to become aware of our own blind spots is to be constantly aware of them. In other words, we need to stop being so wrapped up in what we think we know to realize that we are actually always in the wrong. In fact, we all tend to be this way.
Well, that’s certainly a good thing. You can’t always be sure of your every move, or when you actually do know things that you may think you don’t. Even if you’re pretty sure of what you think you know, in the middle of a game of chess you may have to make a move that you didn’t know was wrong in order to correct course.
This is why I love the phrase “be aware of your surroundings” because it means that you should be aware of the information that you already know about something, even if you dont think you know it. Of course, most of the time you may be right, but you may also be wrong. As the saying goes, “Be aware of the fact that you are a chicken.
For the most part, you’re not necessarily aware of what you’re doing. You’re not aware of the fact that you are not able to answer the question without a strong, clear answer and know that you are. In fact, you may not even know what’s on your mind until you’re done.
