That said, not all things need to be done with the purpose of doing work. Most days I have a ton of things to do today that I want to put to work. I have a ton of laundry to do. I have a ton of errands to run. I have a ton of things to do with my son. I have a ton of writing assignments. I have a ton of projects that I need to try to finish.

This is why I love all of these “to do” lists. They really help to remind me of just how much work is out there. With so many things to do, I can’t be too hard on myself.
